After graduating, he lived in Australia. There he contributed regularly towards the magazine "Investigate", photographing and covering various aspects of Australian current affairs, arts and culture.
After returning to Europe in 2005, he moved to the greek island of Santorini and began photographing weddings. With so many couples choosing to get married abroad, Santorini has become one of the most popular wedding destinations with its charm and unique landscapes captivating couples from all over the world.
"My objective to wedding photography is to capture evocative moments between couples in a dynamic and contemporary fashion. I enjoy blending spontaneous and candid
moments that tell a unique story with artistic portraits, utilizing the stunning compositions, light and color that Santorini has to offer.
Personality, emotion and expression can really make for a distinctive wedding shoot. As well as taking the photos I am there to make couples feel at ease in order to get the best results and actually have fun on the day.
After spending so many years on the island i have extensive knowledge of the best locations as well as good working relations with many local wedding planners, hotels and restaurants. This has allowed me to establish myself and become a key figure within the islands creative community.
I also work regularly with International wedding agencies who direct couples to Santorini from as far as Australia, Asia, USA, Russia, Greece and the United Kingdom.
My photography is greatly influenced by travel, fashion, fine art and photojournalism. Having studied photography for four years in UK i was taught the fundamentals in a traditional sense, shooting with film cameras, processing film, advanced lighting as well as gaining a comprehensive knowledge of dark room printing techniques.
I believe this has been invaluable to me with the transition to the digital era and how particular i am about making inspiring images that have impact and dynamic content. Rather than relying on the assistance of digital software to improve or enhance my photos i am forever aiming to achieve optimum results right when i hit the shutter.
I much prefer the more natural looking image rather than heavy digital manipulation and since the available light in Santorini is simply outstanding why would you want to manipulate a perfect image if you can get it right first time.
This is essential in wedding situations when you don't have much time to think and respond, especially in spontaneous scenarios when 'a moment' is only there once and cannot be re created.
I always listen to my clients needs, creative input and any ideas they may have for their wedding day"

Nathan is based in Santorini every year form April until November. He is also available to shoot in any other country no matter where your wedding destination may be.
With an increasing number of weddings taking place each year it is advisable to book your wedding date well in advance.
"Feel free to contact us any time if you have anything you wish to discuss about your wedding"
